This in-depth emergency maneuvers course is designed to build your confidence with auto-rotations. The goal of this program is for you to maneuver your aircraft to any spot available in the event of a catastrophic component failure. No matter where you are we want you to be prepared for the worst case scenario.
Upon completion:
- You will have a better understanding of the aerodynamics of the auto-rotation.
- You will be able to maneuver the aircraft to nearly any landing zone within auto-rotational range.
- You will have the confidence to perform the maneuver necessary to get you safely to the ground in the event of a power failure.
- You will have absolute control of the emergency procedure
During your emergency training you will receive:
- 3 hours Ground instruction covering; advanced aerodynamics during auto-rotation, advanced auto-rotation glide configurations, advanced RPM recognition and control, advanced emergency landing spot selection.
- 10 hours flight instruction covering; advanced auto-rotation glide configurations, advanced RPM recognition and control, advanced emergency landing spot selection.
