Castor Aviation offers many levels of flight training for all types of individuals.
Castor also offers some commercial applications.
Our helicopter fleet is composed of 3 Robinson R22's and 1 Robinson R44. Our maintenance staff has over 30 years of combined Robinson experience to ensure that our machines are safe for every flight and have minimum wait times for routine maintenance.
We are located just 40 minutes north of Anchorage in the heart of the Matanuska Susitna Valley between Palmer and Wasilla, Alaska. Wolf Lake Airport (4AK6) is a combination commercial and residential airpark with great benefits for our operation. We have vast mountain ranges only minutes away and are in one of the busiest general aviation airspaces in the U.S. Also, with Anchorage International Airport only 25 minutes flight time we get the opportunity of training students in one of the most challenging controlled airspaces in the U.S. [map & directions]
